My Bootcamp project that I decided to tackle on my own. We had two weeks to build a backend and focus strictly on the backend. Although it may not be a finished product, I like to show it off to see the progress I have made from when I did this, and the projects that I have done recently!
Developed with a team in hopes to create an app to help people find and join pickup basketball games! Two weeks to build a fully function full-stack application and deploy from scratch!
A web app that organizes your home life and help improve household efficiency. Project built with a team and focused on front-end development.
Developed to better the initial application as well as to get more practice in starting an application from the ground up in Clojure/ClojureScript land.
A fun personal project built in a couple of hours. Developed to better understand React and REST API's. Used /r/nottheonion and /r/TheOnion to get the data.
I'm a Full Stack Web Developer living in Houston, TX. Born in the Philippines, but grew up in Corpus Christi, TX where I attended Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
I received my Bachelor's of Science degree in Kinesiology. Upon graduation, I started substitute teaching in hopes to land a teaching/coaching job in Houston,
where I started my professional career at a STEM school. After years in the Education Field, I decided to pursue something I've always had a passion for, PROGRAMMING!
I have always had a passion for technology, computing, and programming in general which is why I took a course in C++ at University of Houston-Downtown and various online courses
(freeCodeCamp, edX, Coursera) to better prepare myself in this new eandeavor.
But then I found DigitalCrafts coding bootcamp! And thats when I enrolled and started my career change.
After graduating, I started my software engineering journey at EOG Resources Inc. as a Junior React Developer, and currently working at Luminare Inc. as a Full-stack Software Engineer!
I also enjoy playing soccer, dancing, spending time with my family and friends, chess, building computers, and playing computer games! Give me some good food, good music, and good vibes, and we can be bestest of friends.
Let's build something together! Let's connect, talk, and/or play sports/games as mentioned above. I can be reached through any of the social media outlets available at the bottom left of the page (if you're on mobile, open the navbar on your upper left), or shoot me an email below!
